Big Mama's Delights

Big Mama’s Delights was conceived from spending summers in my grandmother's kitchen. Under her instruction I learned to create many of the recipes I use today.

Each dish is created with the freshest ingredients and made from scratch the way "Big Mama" taught me. My signature dish is cornbread dressing, which I guarantee will be the most flavorful and moist dressing that you have ever put in your mouth. It is my hope that your taste buds will dance and that you will remember the wonderful dishes that came from your Big Mama’s kitchen.

About Us

Meet Kim Smith, Founder and Owner Culinary Choices

Kim Smith, Owner Big Mama's Delights Resiliency and a flair for life characterize the founder and owner of Culinary Choices. Neither a bout with cancer nor a layoff due to a merger could keep her down. Today that same up beat attitude infuses everything Kim touches.

Thanks to the cooking skills she learned from her grandmother, Emma “Big Mama” Monk, Kim has turned "lemons into lemon pies" and caters home cooked fare throughout the DFW area. Read the Richardson Living article about Kim!
